2 · Data collected when visiting the website

For purely informational use of the website, technically necessary data is collected which your browser transmits automatically: IP address, date and time of the request, time-zone difference, content of the request, HTTP status code, transferred data volume, requesting website, browser, operating system and its interface, language and version of the browser software.

This data is stored in our server's log files. It is not stored together with other personal data. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in ensuring smooth connection setup, comfortable use of our website, and IT security.

Log files are automatically deleted after no more than 14 days.

3 · Cookies

This website does not use tracking cookies and does not use cookies for advertising or profiling. Technically necessary cookies are only used to the extent that they are required for the operation of the website.

4 · Reach measurement with Plausible

We use Plausible Analytics for privacy-friendly reach measurement on our website. Plausible sets no cookies, collects no personal data, and operates without cross-site tracking. Analysis is performed anonymously on an aggregated basis (page views, source, country, device category).

The Plausible instance is operated on a server in the European Union (plausible.apx.ai). Legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the needs-based design and continuous optimisation of our offer.

5 · Contact and request forms

If you contact us via the contact form or the request form of the Modern Construction Academy, the data you provide (name, company, role, email address, phone number, comments) is stored to process your request and in case of follow-up questions.

The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measure or contract performance) or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in answering your request).

We do not pass your data on without your consent. Exceptions are recipients we use to provide this website or to answer your request (see section 6).

We delete the data once the request has been finally processed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

6 · Recipients and processors

We use carefully selected service providers to fulfil our contractual and legal obligations. To the extent that they process personal data on our behalf, we have concluded data-processing agreements with them in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

7 · Fonts

This website uses exclusively self-hosted fonts of the Whitney family (licensed via Hoefler&Co.). When the website is accessed, the font files are loaded directly from our server. No connection to third-party providers (e.g. Google Fonts) takes place.

10 · Data security

We use technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. Data transfer between your browser and our server is encrypted via TLS.

This privacy notice has the status of April 2026. Due to the further development of the website and offers or due to changed legal requirements, it may become necessary to amend this notice. You can access the current version on this page at any time.
