Frankfurt/Main, Lean Group is officially among the best advisors for the German Mittelstand: at this year’s TOP CONSULTANT competition the consulting firm was awarded the coveted quality seal. Former Federal President Christian Wulff, mentor of the competition, presented the award at the ceremonial Mittelstands-Summit on 27 June 2025 in Mainz.
The basis for the award is a scientifically grounded customer survey carried out by the Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Management und Beratung (WGMB) on behalf of compamedia. Mid-market reference clients are surveyed directly on consulting quality, professionalism and willingness to recommend. Only firms that perform across all categories receive the seal. This year, 138 consulting firms applied for the award.
Lean Group convinced with excellent client feedback and is among the official 2025 winners. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Eschborn near Frankfurt, the firm has established itself as a strategic implementation partner for mid-sized companies and corporates, with a focus on efficiency improvement, cost reduction and process stabilisation along the entire value chain.
“Strategy only takes effect when it is rigorously implemented. That is exactly what we stand for: operational depth, a clear execution focus and measurable results for our clients,” says Theo Herzog, managing director of Lean Group.
Lean Group’s consultants work across a broad range of industries and combine analytical rigour with pragmatic solutions. The goal: to make organisations faster, leaner and more economically robust.
